Project Amplify

Project Amplify identifies and elevates original programming from diverse viewpoints and targets historically underserved audiences. The program provides a national platform to new voices and connects millions of subscribers with new opportunities to discover diverse content. The program, which launched in 2008 in connection with the merger of Sirius and XM and was previously known as the Qualified Entity Program, continues to play an important role in reaching new audiences, connecting with fans, and providing the soundtrack to our days. Program highlights include:

HBCU

HBCU is a collective blend of programming from Historically Black Colleges and Universities and offers a unique look into the black college experience. It bridges the gap between alumni, current and prospective students through information and entertainment. HBCU is a resource for students and faculty of each institution to work together to educate and empower. The management and delivery of programming is provided by Howard University’s Radio Network, located on the university campus.

SLAM! Radio

Located in the heart of Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood, SLAM! Radio launched in 2019 and is the first and only national programming that is entirely staffed and run by high school students. Offering talent and perspective unlikely to be heard anywhere else, the station features sports news, musical programming, documentaries, interviews with top influencers, and in-depth sports analysis, all from its talented team of teens.

Grown Folk JAMZ®

The R&B Radio Listener is multi-dimensional and Grown Folk JAMZ® features every format this listener enjoys, professionally Imaged & Positioned into one hour, every hour, thus evoking emotion from listeners. Grown Folk JAMZ® artists are from Today and Back In The Day. The Grown Folk JAMZ® format was originally conceived by D-R JAMZ, the Operations Director of Grown Folk JAMZ. Long-time terrestrial radio program director and host, as well as Grown Folk JAMZ® online radio program director, Todd “T-O” Reynolds, serves as the program directo, and the legendary voice of Al Twitty, CEO of Urban Radio Group, provides imaging for Grown Folk JAMZ®.

Holy Culture Radio

Holy Culture Radio is the home for everything Christian Hip-Hop and Rhythm & Praise. From introducing upcoming artists to discussions about faith, arts, vocation, and education with legends in the industry and more, Holy Culture programming focuses on unifying three foundational things listeners are looking for: connection to popular culture, connection to their faith, and success in their careers.
