Through programs and resources such as mentoring, goal setting and tracking, live training, and more, we support the growth and development of our employees.

Pathways

The Pathways Program places recent college graduates and early-career professionals from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) via a full-time career track at the company. The program offers the opportunity to work in a select departments and is designed to accelerate development through a 12-month program that provides training, mentorship, and networking opportunities and is an on-ramp to long-term career growth. 

Leveraging External Programs

Through our work with McKinsey & Company, we have had more than 350 talented mid to executive level employees go through their Connected Leaders Academy – a program that is designed to enhance the existing capabilities of Black, Hispanic and Latino, and Asian leaders and support their ongoing career progression.

SiriusXM has partnered with management consulting firm Korn Ferry to implement mandatory Conscious Inclusion training for all employees which explores bias and its impact, how it translates to reactions and behaviors towards differences, and provides guidelines on how to implement more inclusive behaviors at work.

Partnerships with Professional Conferences

SiriusXM also sponsors and attends professional conferences focused on diverse talent including the Grace Hopper Celebration, AFROTECH Conference, American Advertising Foundation's Mosaic Center, Sistas in Sales, and more.

Inclusive Workplace Initiatives

Conscious Inclusion

Conscious Inclusion is a required program that promotes inclusive behaviors by enabling employees to explore bias and its impact, learn how it translates to reactions and behaviors towards differences, and learn how to mitigate biases and its impact in their daily interactions with one another.

Can We Talk?

Can we talk? is an initiative aimed at increasing cultural awareness and providing resources to promote respectful dialogue. Through this company-wide initiative we have discussed topics including Race, Allyship, Stereotypes, Covering, Imposter Syndrome, inclusive language, and diversity driving innovation.

SiriusXM Employee Communities provide support, visibility, and empowerment to all employees, including Women, People of Color, Veterans & Military, LGBTQIA+ people, and people with disabilities.

    Women’s Community
    The mission of the Women’s Community is to influence gender equity in hiring, compensation, and leadership throughout the company to create a culture of community empowerment and diverse leadership.
    Mixtape Community
    Champions and celebrates the diverse cultures and backgrounds of our employees. Like an actual mixtape, it’s an eclectic group from all walks of life with the goal of building awareness of our diversity, equity and inclusion efforts throughout the company.
    Veterans & Military Community
    The Veterans and Military Community is dedicated to improving recruitment outreach to people leaving military service or currently serving in the reserves, and to assist in their transition to employment with the company.
    LGBTQIA+ Pride Community
    LGBTQIA+ Pride empowers lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, non-binary, queer, and questioning employees and their fierce allies to serve as a support system and social network for all LGBTQIA+ employees.
    Disability Community
    The Disability Community provides a safe and honest place for employees with disabilities of any kind, along with their advocates and allies, to gather, celebrate and support each other to thrive in and out of the workplace.
